Digital scrapbooks make a lovely gift and are a wonderful way to show off your photos with fully co-ordinated backgrounds and embellishments, all digitally created in Adobe Photoshop.

So what is a scrapbook? Instead of just placing photos in an album, or having a photo book printed, a scrapbook aims to capture the feeling and the mood associated with their memories.

Photos are embellished with all sorts of additional items to help set the mood of the page. The whole album can be on just one theme (such as a wedding, birthday or baby's first year) or can be a mixture of different themes. Backgrounds and other digital elements are used to embellish photos to set the tone.

When you look at a page in a photo album, you see a few photographs, but when you look at the pages of a scrapbook, you are transported to a different time. We can even scan memorabilia such as invitations, ticket stubs or newspaper clippings to be included in your pages.

In addition, meaningful journalling can be used to describe the photos so that in years to come, whoever looks at your scrapbook will know everything they need to know about the photos!
